First, the wine tastings are from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week. Next, the atmosphere is casual and inviting. Best of all, you can tour the wine making operation. The Desert Rock Winery Happy Hour offers a limited selection of three “Wine Absorbers” for $10 each.
Prosciutto & Mozzarella
Uncured Sopressata Piccante & Mozzarella
Uncured Genoa Salame & Provolone
Goldfish crackers are sometimes provided at the bar. Our first experience was on Valentine’s Day. On this special occasion pizza was provided by the winery for those in attendance. Later, a winery member brought some home-made whiskey cream filled chocolate made with the whiskey made at the winery. Yum!!
DRINKS – Happy Hour
Now let’s see about the wine tasting. Several selections to choose from. Whites, Reds, and ciders.
$10.00 – For a sampling of 4 wines or ciders.
$6.00 – $15.00 – Wine by the glass.
$5.00 – Hard Ciders or Hard Seltzer by the glass.
The wines are all very good. Of course, bottles are available for sale. If you purchase two bottles after the tasting, the $10.00 tasting fee is waived.
